Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor marination equipment, make adjustments as needed, and ensure quality and productivity standards.
  • •Prepare work area for start-up, changeovers/spray downs, and shutdown; select appropriate programs.
  • •Test and record percentage of marination pick-up and adjust injection of products; maintain marination percentage records.
  • •Document weights of marinated product produced to USDA regulations and assist with rework of over/under injected product.
  • •Clean and organize work area and communicate with maintenance, supervisors/leads, and production associates as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to mix marination to product specifications and maintain detailed marination percentage records.
  • •Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions for record keeping.
  • •Ability to compute rates/percentages and draw/interpret graphs for quality and production documentation.
  • •Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees) and stand/use hands for 8-11 hours per day.
  • •Authorized to do LOTO (Lock Out/Tag out) or willingness to acquire authorization; ability to lift and carry 40+ pounds.
