Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
  • •Coordinate plant maintenance policies, procedures, and a safe, clean environment alongside the Maintenance Manager.
  • •Manage preventative maintenance and oversee repairs to equipment across the plant.
  • •Assess and diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC problems to minimize production downtime.
  • •Apply SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices so maintenance employees understand and follow required procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree or college program certificate; or 3+ years related experience and training; or equivalent combination in a food manufacturing environment.
  • •3 years of maintenance experience with supervisor or lead experience with direct reports preferred.
  • •Experience directing, evaluating, and training maintenance technicians.
  • •Basic PLC experience and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP experience is a plus.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly (spoken and written) and perform weekend work as needed.
