Job Summary

Support pre-sales and technical engagements for Fortinet switching and identity access management (IAM) solutions across EMEA/APAC. Collaborate with field systems engineers on RFP/RFI responses, technical discussions, solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs. Build sales enablement materials, act as a product management point of contact for customer needs and feature requests, and analyze project trends to provide market vision. Cover FortiSwitch, FortiAuthenticator/FortiIdentity/FortiToken, and FortiNAC.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide second-level pre-sales technical support for the field Systems Engineering organization, including RFP/RFI design, solution specification, and product information.
•Lead technical discussions, articulate technology differentiators, and create solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs.
•Develop technical material supporting sales activities (e.g., slideware, solution briefs, white papers, technical notes) and run design workshops.
•Act as the product management point of contact by reporting and consolidating customer needs, validating business cases, and writing/prioritizing feature requests.
•Report project activities, analyze project trends, provide market vision, and participate in development of commercial strategies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•7+ years designing and implementing switching architecture, security, and identity management solutions for critical systems and programs.
•Strong communication and presentation skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
•Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, and deliver hands-on workshops for partners and end customers.
•Strong experience with authentication protocols including RADIUS, LDAP, FIDO2, SAML, and OAUTH.
•Ability to cover at least 2 of the 3 product areas when starting, with relevant expertise in switching, IAM, and/or network access control.
