Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean and prepare iron/aluminum castings and sheet metal parts for painting and/or assembly, including powder coat or spray paint operations.
  • •Process parts in acid/alkaline/rinse baths and perform simple chemical tests to maintain specified PH, concentrations, and temperatures.
  • •Maintain required logs, checklists, test records, scrap reports, and process documentation; clean tanks and equipment.
  • •Operate and adjust oven controls, pumps, chemical feed stations, powder coat stations, and spray paint equipment to ensure paint quality.
  • •Operate forklift truck/hand cart to move, stack, and deliver materials; follow safety regulations and immediately report spills.
