Lead the technical development of AI data center infrastructure standards and deployment designs for Cerebras systems. Own Basis of Design (BoD) across power, cooling, and supporting mechanical/electrical systems, and partner with internal engineering teams plus external colocation providers, EPC firms, and vendors. Create standardized reference architectures and deployment templates, lead technical reviews for liquid cooling and power distribution, and ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and code compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and own the Basis of Design (BoD) for AI data center deployments.
•Partner with internal manufacturing and engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements.
•Create standardized reference architectures and deployment templates.
•Review and validate designs with colocation providers, EPC firms, engineering consultants, and OEMs.
•Lead technical reviews for power distribution, liquid cooling, CDU architecture, chilled water systems, and heat rejection.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
•10+ years of mission-critical or hyperscale data center design experience.
•Experience developing Basis of Design (BoD) documentation and technical standards.
•Strong knowledge of high-density liquid cooling and power distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear, CDUs, chillers, cooling systems).
•Knowledge of ASHRAE, Uptime Institute, NEC, NFPA, and ISO standards.
