Job Summary

Oversee execution of the Bank’s 3-year strategic planning process, partnering with executive leadership and management to develop the annual enterprise-wide strategy. Lead planning intake, prioritization, and evaluation of business and corporate initiatives, and integrate strategic planning into budgeting, operational planning, capital planning, risk appetite, and technology investment committees. Manage KPI methodology adoption and support executive quarterly reviews, while identifying emerging opportunities to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee execution of the Bank’s strategic planning process to develop and advance the 3-year strategic plan.
•Lead development and execution of the annual enterprise-wide strategic plan in collaboration with senior management to align business initiatives with growth strategy and safety and soundness.
•Support executive leadership in determining corporate priorities and enterprise initiatives by developing line-of-business strategic plans and identifying recurring issues to mitigate enterprise risks.
•Lead intake, alignment, and prioritization evaluation of business and corporate support initiatives for enterprise-level impact, business growth, and shareholder value.
•Oversee strategic plan integration into annual budget, operational planning, capital planning, risk appetite, and technology investment committees; support KPI methodology execution and executive quarterly business reviews.

Key Requirements

•Advanced knowledge of the banking sector and financial services, including bank products, services, regulations, policies, and procedures, with emphasis on deposit markets, commercial & industrial lending, and commercial real estate.
•Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required; MBA preferred.
•8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise strategic planning via an internal strategy/planning team, management/strategy consulting, or within the financial services industry.
•Expert in managing business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholder expectations using strategic or business planning prioritization metrics to analyze investments and budgets.
•Expert at advising enterprise-level planning and transformation efforts, and creating/presenting executive and board-level presentations while managing ambiguity.
