Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA): configure URL filtering, SSL inspection, sandboxing, and cloud firewall policies; manage PAC files, GRE/IPsec tunnels, and forwarding profiles; troubleshoot internet access/traffic forwarding.
  • •Administer Zscaler Private Access (ZPA): deploy/manage App Connectors, Service Edges, and Application Segments; support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) initiatives; troubleshoot application access and authentication issues.
  • •Monitor security incidents and analyze logs to investigate threats, policy violations, and anomalous activities.
  • •Coordinate with SOC, Network, and Endpoint teams during incident response.
  • •Integrate Zscaler with Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory, and SIEM platforms; automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or APIs.

Key Requirements

  • •4–8+ years of network security experience, including 4+ years hands-on with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and/or Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
  • •Enterprise cloud security environment experience.
  • •Strong ZIA/ZPA administration skills (URL filtering, SSL inspection, sandboxing, cloud firewall policies; App Connectors, Service Edges, Application Segments).
  • •Hands-on troubleshooting across PAC files, Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC), authentication, SSL decryption, DNS resolution, proxy forwarding, and application access.
  • •Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, SWG/CASB/DLP, and related security concepts; scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) are preferred.
