Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, test, and ship backend features and improvements with minimal guidance using modern backend languages.
  • •Build and maintain secure, observable, and performant code, including APIs, background jobs, integrations, and working with data models, migrations, indexes, and query behavior.
  • •Add and improve automated test coverage (unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end as appropriate) and review others’ code for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and operational risk.
  • •Investigate build, test, deployment, and runtime failures, identify technical debt, propose improvements, and participate in on-call or operational support as required.
  • •Use AI productively in daily work, validating outputs and understanding limitations.

  • •Professional experience building and shipping production backend applications with strong API, database, testing, debugging, and performance fundamentals.
