Key Responsibilities

  • •Own system path-finding and architecture for compute domains from concept and requirements through spec, design review, and deployment, and serve as reviewer/thought partner.
  • •Write and own high-level requirements and specifications across system, board, interface, and rack for internal and partner build targets.
  • •Review partner and vendor designs against requirements, make build/buy/co-design calls with supply chain and partnership teams, and surface misalignment/schedule risks early.
  • •Drive interconnect and networking architecture and board/chassis/system-level architecture with partners, including component placement and power/thermal budgeting.
  • •Define validation, bring-up, and qualification strategy for new platforms, including telemetry and reliability targets, and track roadmaps and vendor landscape.

  • •Deep, hands-on expertise in at least one core hardware-systems domain (e.g., interconnect, power, thermal) for large-scale compute or networking systems.
  • •Own hardware system architecture at scale (machine, rack, row, cluster) and author specifications and requirements.
