Job Summary

Lead advanced electronics formulation R&D for solder masks, coatings, conformal coatings, gels, encapsulants, and related materials. Own the local innovation roadmap and translate customer and market needs for PCB, semiconductor, and LED applications into prioritized development programs. Drive formulation design, validation, scale-up, technology transfer, and launch readiness, while mentoring a dedicated R&D team and collaborating across global centers, manufacturing, technical service, quality, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the R&D team for advanced electronics formulations, strengthening technical depth and execution discipline.
•Define and align the local electronics innovation roadmap with the global product development strategy.
•Oversee design, validation, and optimization of advanced formulations for solder masks, coatings, conformal coatings, gels, encapsulants, and related materials.
•Partner with process development and manufacturing to enable scale-up, technology transfer, pilot trials, qualification readiness, and launch preparation.
•Build team capability through mentoring and effective deployment of technical, human, and financial resources to maximize R&D productivity.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Formulation, or a related technical discipline.
•10+ years of R&D experience in materials formulation for electronics applications (e.g., solder masks, coatings, encapsulants, adhesives).
•Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving innovation from proof of concept through industrialization.
•Strong experience in scale-up, customer qualification, technology transfer, and launch support in complex technical environments.
•Deep formulation expertise across systems such as epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane, and silicone resin, including fillers, additives, and pigments.
