Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •5 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience (or equivalent education, training, and experience).
  • •Ability to attain NCDOT certifications within ~90 days (including concrete field technician, conventional density, and erosion & sediment control/stormwater, among others).
  • •Ability to keep accurate records and compute/analyze field data, including reading and interpreting construction plans.
  • •Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, and spreadsheets, plus the ability to perform physical activities required by testing and inspection.
