Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the vision, roadmap, and execution for Identity and Fraud & Risk platforms, spanning authentication, account lifecycle, identity verification/eligibility, identity graph signals, and fraud detection/prevention.
  • •Manage and develop a team of software engineers by setting goals, providing coaching/feedback, supporting career growth, and building an inclusive, accountable culture.
  • •Ensure reliable, high-quality platform delivery by defining service health goals, improving on-call practices, leading post-incident learning, and driving remediation for critical services.
  • •Partner with Product, Data Science/ML, Security, Fraud Operations, Legal, and external identity vendors to design and ship initiatives like account takeover prevention and stronger identity verification/eligibility workflows.
  • •Lead AI-forward engineering practices for design, coding, testing, and operations with guardrails for safety, privacy, and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering leadership/management or a technical lead role.
  • •Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems or real-time decisioning platforms in production (identity, fraud, risk, payments, or similar).
  • •Strong backend or platform engineering background with languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and modern datastores such as Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar.
  • •Experience managing engineers (hiring, performance management, feedback, coaching, and career development) and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver measurable impact.
