Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise customers and resolve complex MongoDB issues across architecture, performance, recovery, security, and related areas.
  • •Work with standard methodologies for running MongoDB at scale, providing expertise as a technical resource for troubleshooting.
  • •Collaborate with product management and development teams to advocate for customer needs and feedback.
  • •Contribute to internal projects, including building support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
  • •Mentor and ramp new team members, and drive initiatives to build knowledge of new product lines within the MongoDB ecosystem.

Key Requirements

  • •Systems engineering experience across Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting.
  • •Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS.
  • •Storage engineering experience including NAS, SAN, SSD, multi-pathing, and caching.
  • •Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems.
  • •Ability to read code and perform basic scripting in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C, C++, C#, JavaScript (node.js), or Go.
