Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain accuracy and audit bill of materials in MRP systems to prepare for production at rate.
  • •Set and manage inventory level targets, review line of balances, align demand/supply signals and allocations, and maintain product master data.
  • •Mitigate supply risk and ensure continuity by constructing and executing supply plans that meet on-time, high-quality production needs.
  • •Apply MRP expertise to triage signals, interpret the matrix, and educate supported teams on proper MRP usage.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to determine change cut impacts and reduce obsolescence and eliminate/reduce quality issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in one or more of engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, or operations/supply chain management; OR bachelor’s degree and 4+ years; OR 7+ years total experience.
  • •Experience in material cost control, master production scheduling, and/or operations or supply chain management.
  • •Technical knowledge in a commodity such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending and assembly, weldment assembly, or soft goods.
  • •Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
  • •APICS certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
