Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and third-party settlement service providers to ensure timely instruction and trade matching.
  • •Settle trades and communicate with stakeholders to resolve confirmation, matching, and settlement issues.
  • •Monitor daily failing trades and escalate potential buy-ins or other economically impactful issues to traders and operations management.
  • •Coordinate with front office and global support teams to address trade inquiries and issues.
  • •Manage settlement onboarding/setup for new accounts and help identify control gaps and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •2-4 years of experience in securities settlements, ideally in an alternative asset management firm.
  • •Knowledge of securities (e.g., corporate bonds, convertible bonds, asset-backed securities, equities) and the trade lifecycle.
  • •Experience with multiple settlement methods, including DTC, Euroclear, and Clearstream.
  • •Working knowledge of DTCC products (CTM and Alert) and awareness of risks/controls for T+1 settlements.
  • •Experience with credit derivatives (cleared and OTC), plus familiarity with tools and systems such as Allvue Everest, Eze OMS, and Advent Geneva.
