Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and translate them into functional system designs.
  • •Develop pre-sales documentation and proposal support materials, including labor estimates and material requirements.
  • •Create detailed system documentation (bill of materials, conceptual block diagrams, infrastructure plans, and scopes of work).
  • •Identify and communicate risks, site conditions, scheduling requirements, and dependencies; coordinate with vendors and contractors to align designs.
  • •Support project teams during implementation as the design authority and help review/validate designs from junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to independently address risks using strong problem-solving skills.
  • •Experience communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and project teams.
  • •Proficiency designing and configuring audiovisual (AV) systems and understanding IP networking concepts (including AVoIP) and network architecture.
  • •Familiarity with AV/IT industry standards such as AVIXA and ANSI/TIA, and ability to use tools like CAD.
  • •Valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record meeting company standards.
