Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive reliability, security posture, and operational excellence for the Sovereign Cloud Shared Management Services platform.
  • •Work with a globally distributed engineering team to design, develop, deploy, and manage the SMS platform lifecycle.
  • •Harden identity/access management, secrets management, and supply chain integrity as core reliability concerns.
  • •Identify mission-critical capability gaps, define standardized operational processes, and navigate trade-offs across deployment plans and infrastructure investments.
  • •Lead infrastructure hardening, backup validation, and disaster recovery drills to ensure global failure readiness.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years leading engineering projects and cross-functional program teams with strong SRE principles for globally distributed products.
  • •Advanced proficiency with IaC, scripting, and automation including Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, and PowerShell, plus CI/CD.
  • •Deep understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking fundamentals, and operating large-scale distributed cloud environments.
  • •Security-adjacent background with strong security foundational skills, treating security as a first-class reliability concern.
  • •Experience with modern monitoring tooling such as Grafana and Prometheus; ability to lead and mentor junior engineers is a plus.
