Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership to develop and sustain a QC team aligned to Safety, Integrity, and Quality.
  • •Support and lead QC team safe production activities to sustain zero incidents.
  • •Maintain QC/QA processes for facilities to meet and exceed state and federal requirements.
  • •Support customers and the sales team with sampling, packaging, testing, and meeting material submittal and testing deadlines.
  • •Oversee lab and field QC technicians, manage workloads/schedules/staffing, and ensure lab equipment and reference materials are maintained and up to date.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • •4+ years of experience in quality control (preferred).
  • •2+ years of experience managing a staff of 2+ employees.
  • •A degree in geology, engineering, or a technical field may be substituted for experience on a year-by-year basis.
  • •Ability to obtain QC/QA certifications: ArDOT Basic Aggregate and HMA; TDOT HMA (including mixture design); MDOT CAT I and CAT II.
