Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide appropriate, timely lending decisions for small business and consumer loan requests, including real estate loans, term loans, and lines of credit.
  • •Review member and submitted applications for suitability to lending policies, goals, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • •Uphold compliance requirements including BSA/AML, OFAC, and information security policies and complete annual compliance training.
  • •Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations; obtain and review credit histories, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
  • •Identify application and credit trends to inform management and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years’ experience as a Small Business or Consumer Underwriter or Portfolio Manager (or similar role) for a financial institution.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus).
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to explain loan terms, features, policies, and benefits.
  • •Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
  • •Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
