Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate fuel trucks and bulk fueling equipment to safely deliver diesel fuel and DEF throughout the jobsite.
  • •Fuel heavy construction equipment, generators, light plants, pumps, and other diesel/gasoline-powered assets according to schedules and site requirements.
  • •Conduct scheduled fueling rounds (including day/night operations) and monitor fuel/DEF levels, prioritizing critical-path equipment.
  • •Perform wet-nozzling operations and ensure equipment/unit numbers are verified before fueling; accurately document all fueling activity.
  • •Inspect fueling equipment and report leaks, spills, damaged equipment, and safety concerns immediately, while maintaining housekeeping and spill-prevention measures.

Key Requirements

  • •Follow all fuel-handling, PPE, fire-prevention, and spill-response requirements, responding properly to spills per the site emergency plan.
  • •Wear required PPE at all times and maintain awareness of moving equipment, personnel, electrical hazards, and other jobsite conditions.
  • •Complete required inspections and accurate written and electronic documentation, including daily fuel and DEF logs.
  • •Ability to safely lift, handle, and manipulate fueling hoses and equipment, including outdoor work in varying extreme weather conditions.
  • •Prior experience fueling heavy construction equipment, generators, or other diesel/gasoline-powered equipment is preferred.
