Key Responsibilities

  • •Build systems that generate reinforcement learning environments rather than only the environments themselves.
  • •Design pipelines that ingest software projects, analyze them with Bugcrowd’s Mayhem platform, and automatically construct training environments.
  • •Create infrastructure that generates thousands of environments used to train frontier AI systems.
  • •Enable model learning of vulnerability discovery, exploitation, and remediation within RL environments.
  • •Build high-performance tooling powering AI research at the intersection of security research and systems engineering.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 176,400 - 242,550 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Understand reinforcement learning training workflows used by modern LLM systems.
  • •Experience with DevOps pipelines and reproducible builds using Docker/buildkit/nix (e.g., github actions).
  • •Proficiency in Python and C; Rust is a plus.
  • •Understanding of software vulnerabilities, fuzzing, or program analysis.
  • •Experience with build systems and large open-source codebases, plus comfort working on Linux with low-level debugging.
