Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the development, implementation, use, and maintenance of Project Controls processes within the programme or subdivision.
  • •Oversee day-to-day management, staffing, and the implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes.
  • •Direct and coordinate Project Controls activities across design, manufacture, construction, and commissioning within safety, quality, time, and cost milestones.
  • •Act as key point of contact for matters relating to Project Planning within the P3M South West Defence team.
  • •Provide regular updates to the Regional Discipline Lead and maintain a strong service provision to clients.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis.
  • •Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications, including Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • •Subject Matter Expert in Project Controls & Planning, including Earned Value Management, risk management, and core aspects of the NEC Contract.
  • •Degree qualified in a construction related subject (ideal).
  • •Knowledge of engineering and construction management, including engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
