Job Summary

Own and govern Engineering & Maintenance contracts and warranty entitlements to protect commercial value and ensure regulatory compliance for the airline. Serve as the single point of accountability across OEMs, MROs, lessors, and service providers—enforcing contractual rights, maximizing warranty recoveries, minimizing financial exposure, and driving supplier performance via governance, KPIs, risk registers, and audit-ready documentation. Lead warranty claims workflows and partner with Finance to ensure accurate recovery recognition and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and manage all Engineering & Maintenance-related contracts, including OEM support agreements, Power-by-the-Hour arrangements, MRO/repair contracts, and warranty clauses in purchase/lease/induction and redelivery agreements.
•Lead contract governance and lifecycle management, including interpretation, digital codification of key terms/SLAs/remedies, obligations tracking, risk registers, and compliance monitoring with audit-ready documentation.
•Establish and manage an end-to-end warranty framework with standardized workflows and KPIs; ensure timely identification, submission, and follow-up of warranty claims across aircraft/engines/APUs/components and cabin systems.
•Maximize warranty recovery and cost avoidance by validating contractual entitlements, performing financial reconciliation, and enforcing remedies/penalties based on supplier performance.
•Partner with Finance and act as Engineering’s commercial interface with OEMs, MRO providers, repair vendors, lessors, and asset owners to support negotiations, amendments, escalations, and accurate financial recognition.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum 7 years of experience in airline Engineering & Maintenance, CAMO, MRO, or aviation commercial roles.
•Strong experience managing engineering contracts and warranties in an airline or MRO environment.
•Experience supporting contract negotiations and managing supplier performance issues.
•Excellent contract interpretation and commercial judgment, including the ability to use supplier scorecards and recovery KPIs.
