Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a wide range of general labor duties on a road construction project or production crew.
  • •Assist with shoveling, raking, traffic control, and moving construction materials.
  • •Set, strip, and clean concrete forms and support concrete pouring activities.
  • •Shovel and vibrate as needed for the project, helping ensure proper construction work.
  • •Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety regulations at all times.

Key Requirements

  • •Be able to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds and pass required physical examination, including walking, stooping, squatting, sitting, and kneeling.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools and their uses, plus basic mathematical and measurement skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
  • •Prior construction experience is preferred.
  • •Maintain reliable attendance, meet company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • •Prior experience in heavy highway construction is preferred.
