Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise daily PV module production across multiple plant areas, ensuring required quality standards and cost-efficiency.
  • •Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities/teams, assuming delegate responsibilities for the Shift Manager as required.
  • •Train, mentor, and support Supervisor I associates and manufacturing associates; conduct performance appraisals and maintain training matrices and training guides.
  • •Control costs to maintain budget accuracy; monitor and coordinate WIP optimization and inventory accuracy.
  • •Support safety procedures and good housekeeping standards (5S), identify downtime root causes, and evaluate manufacturing processes to meet cycle time targets.

Salary: USD 62,500 - 89,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required.
  • •Meet one of the experience criteria: 1 year of First Solar supervisory experience; or 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/warehouse/textile/agricultural/material inspection setting; or 6 years supervisory experience plus 2 years in a manufacturing/warehouse/textile/agricultural/material inspection setting.
  • •Experience in electrical, mechanical, and chemical industrial applications.
  • •Experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
  • •Efficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, with effective communication, supervisory, decision-making, organizational, and planning abilities.
