•Develop and manage a team of Team Leads and Specialists for SME areas focused on AML/CFT risk assessment and mitigation.
•Turn strategic objectives into actionable plans, phased implementations, and scalable, compliant processes that improve customer experience.
•Drive performance management against KPIs/SLAs, refresh expectations, and address underperformance with actionable plans.
•Ensure quality through established frameworks, root-cause analysis, and incident response from detection through remediation.
•Lead projects end-to-end and manage stakeholder communication across Product and senior leadership to align with OKRs and goals.

Key Requirements

•3-4 years of experience in KYC/AML, financial crime, compliance, or a related role in financial services.
•At least 3 years of experience leading small to medium-sized teams.
•Advanced understanding of the regulatory framework for KYC, FinCrime, and regulatory/operational compliance.
•Strong knowledge of money laundering methods and other financial crime trends, with ability to translate best practices into Wise’s needs.
•Experience forecasting and strategically moving team metrics, with strong project management and organizational skills.
