Job Summary

Design and lead development of a new strategic middleware using Core Java and microservices, while setting coding standards and owning solution design. Key Responsibilities

•Architect and build a new strategic middleware using Core Java and microservices, writing code and setting team standards.
•Provide architectural guidance and technical direction for the entire program, owning solution design and aligning with long-term engineering strategy.
•Establish and nurture an engineering culture focused on quality, automation, and continuous improvement, mentoring engineers and leading by example.
•Implement and mature a robust DevSecOps pipeline, ensuring efficient, secure, highly automated CI/CD processes.
•Act as the team’s AI champion, identify opportunities to leverage AI tooling, and support an AI-first mindset to deliver successful middleware outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Extensive, hands-on experience as a senior engineer or architect with deep expertise in Core Java and scalable microservices-based architectures.
•Proven track record designing and delivering complex, large-scale systems from scratch in the financial services domain, preferably post-trade processing.
•Strong, practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles and tools, including building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines.
•Demonstrable experience with AI in software development, including AI coding assistants and articulating business value of AI-driven solutions.
•Exceptional leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers, driving technical decisions, and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
