Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead introduction of new network hardware systems, including detailed engineering validation in lab environments.
  • •Gather requirements, contribute to network architecture, and execute hardware design and product validation.
  • •Develop tools and automation to evaluate network hardware performance effectively.
  • •Create and automate test plans across DVT/PVT and operational acceptance to align operational needs and hardware constraints.
  • •Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve network hardware issues and document findings via blogs/wiki posts, ticketing systems, and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Proven experience evaluating hardware via testing, measurement, and/or simulation, including performance benchmarking and debugging.
  • •Extensive experience in networking hardware architecture, validation, and deployment, plus deep knowledge of data center switching/routing and Internet routing protocols.
  • •Demonstrated ability to drive engineering projects from idea through experimentation to implementation, including successful work with OEMs/ODMs and vendors.
  • •Professional-level Python (or similar scripting) proficiency, with familiarity using AI tools and technologies.
