Job Summary

Lead and demonstrate the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient- and family-focused nursing care. Manage the assigned nursing unit on a 24-hour basis by assessing, planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care aligned with Elegancia Nursing Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA). Oversee OR objectives delivery, staffing plans, skills mix, patient acuity criteria, and personnel management, while supporting research-based practice and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide safe, quality, patient- and family-focused nursing care in line with Elegancia Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and JCIA.
•Manage the assigned nursing unit on a 24-hour basis by assessing, planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
•Ensure OR objectives are delivered by coordinating nursing and support teams and maintaining an appropriate skills mix and staff management.
•Evaluate patient acuity, develop and review criteria for work assignment and the delivery care model, and update staffing/scheduling plans as needs change.
•Perform personnel management activities, including interviewing and selecting candidates, directing performance management, and managing corrective action issues.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of nursing experience (required).
•4 years of managerial experience in a nursing operating room (required).
•Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
•Comprehensive knowledge of accreditation processes in an acute healthcare facility, with emphasis on JCI/JCIA.
•ERP knowledge with preferably SAP functional skills required; previous OR commissioning/licensing and GCC OR licensing are desirable.
