Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform aviation-related civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for airports.
  • •Plan, direct, and monitor multidisciplinary airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting/signage, navigational aids, drainage, utility relocation/protection, and pavement rehabilitation.
  • •Mentor and develop staff, providing leadership and an environment that encourages teamwork, initiative, and growth.
  • •Supervise, coordinate, and produce several projects concurrently; guide teams on complex technical issues.
  • •Develop strategy, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, execute projects, coordinate staffing and workloads, and manage QA/QC with client/funding agency/FAA/local permit coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency) with an emphasis on design.
  • •Experience managing $5MM contract value projects.
  • •Experience preparing project reports, feasibility studies, and PS&Es for aviation projects.
  • •Professional Engineer License in CA.
  • •Available to travel to clients and projects in Southern California, Nevada, and other states within the region.
