Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with product managers and engineering leads to frame questions, define analytical requirements, and deliver insights that shape roadmap and investment decisions.
  • •Build cohort, funnel, and user journey analyses to explain adoption, identify where customers get stuck, and uncover drivers of retention.
  • •Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering to ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across datasets.
  • •Define and maintain north star and product health metrics as a single source of truth for activation, engagement, and retention.
  • •Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a highly analytical role, with hands-on exposure to product usage, behavioral analytics, or event-level data at a SaaS company.
  • •Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling, with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear visualizations and dashboards.
  • •Experience with semantic layer BI tools (e.g., Omni, Looker) and modern data stack tooling (e.g., dbt, Google BigQuery).
  • •Experience with event instrumentation/CDP platforms (e.g., RudderStack, Segment) and event-level analytics.
  • •Strong skills in product analytics (cohort, funnel/journey analysis, retention curves, and defining activation/engagement metrics) plus excellent communication with non-technical audiences.
