Job Summary

Strengthen financial integrity by coordinating and performing internal controls testing under NI 52-109 across WSP’s global regions. Support alignment of controls across regions and newly acquired businesses, advise on deficiency remediation, and analyze testing results and trends for reporting to management and the Audit Committee. Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams worldwide, help evolve internal controls processes, and participate in continuous improvement of governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and perform internal controls testing under NI 52-109 across WSP’s global regions, including consolidation of testing results and documentation for Audit Committee reporting.
•Support documentation and alignment of internal controls across regions and newly acquired businesses, strengthening the financial reporting control environment and management certification processes.
•Advise and follow up on control deficiency remediation plans to enhance governance and compliance outcomes.
•Analyze and summarize internal control testing results, deficiency trends, and remediation status to support reporting to management and the Audit Committee.
•Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams globally to support testing, documentation, and remediation activities, and contribute to continuous evolution of internal controls processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 81,100 - 112,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or accounting information systems; CPA designation or in progress.
•3 to 5 years of relevant experience in external and/or internal audit, ideally within a publicly traded company or public accounting firm.
•Experience with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404 internal control testing and internal control frameworks.
•Strong communication skills in English with working-level French proficiency and the ability to engage across organizational levels.
•Willingness to travel internationally as required and ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
