Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary client point of contact, responding professionally and maintaining ongoing client relationships.
  • •Coordinate multiple disciplines and lead mechanical engineering to deliver projects within budget and on schedule while managing the mechanical team (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing).
  • •Develop detailed mechanical equipment specifications and discipline plans aligned to project scope and schedule.
  • •Stay current on relevant codes and technologies, analyze mechanical system performance, and recommend upgrades and new technologies.
  • •Provide construction-phase technical support (RFIs, site visits, commissioning), ensure compliance with standards, and analyze energy usage for optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection design experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer License (P.Eng.) with APEGA required.
  • •Experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for data centers and construction phases.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • •Experience with CAD and building information modeling (BIM); data center standards knowledge is preferred.
