Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead structured AI-governance processes and provide expert oversight of AI risks.
  • •Serve as the central point of contact for IT risks in the Life business and support stakeholders on new products, projects, and migrations.
  • •Make risks transparent, challenge existing risk assessments, and conduct structured risk analyses with the business.
  • •Continuously develop the AI-governance framework in close collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and IT.
  • •Integrate risk and governance perspectives early into IT projects and new AI use cases for responsible implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree with a technical focus (e.g., Informatics or Business Informatics), plus further training or certifications in IT and risk management (e.g., CRISC, AAIR, CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor).
  • •Proven experience in IT or AI risk management, ideally in insurance (Life preferred) or another regulated environment.
  • •Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST, COBIT) or willingness to quickly ramp up.
  • •Strong analytical and technical skills with an affinity for data and technology, plus structured and independent working style.
  • •Excellent German and good English to clearly communicate complex topics to different stakeholders.
