Job Summary

Own the UX of a proactive smart assistant’s core experience, designing end-to-end flows across iOS, Android, and web. Create AI-assisted task journeys from intent capture through completion, including handoff, progress tracking, and error recovery. Define how users understand AI actions, decisions, and confirmations, and map key AI states. Partner with product, engineering, and ML teams, run usability research, and produce Figma-ready wireframes and high-fidelity designs.

Key Responsibilities

•Own UX for A1’s core app surfaces across iOS, Android, and web.
•Design complete user flows for AI-assisted tasks, including handoff, progress tracking, and error recovery.
•Design how the app surfaces what the AI is doing, decisions made, and what the user must confirm or adjust.
•Map and design AI user states including loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, stalling, failing, and recovering.
•Work with product, engineering, and ML teams to translate user requirements into concrete design solutions.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a UX designer on consumer mobile or web apps with a strong portfolio.
•Solid user flow design, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping skills in Figma.
•Ability to design for asynchronous, non-deterministic, and context-dependent systems.
•Strong thinking about user trust, control, feedback, and transparency in AI-driven product experiences.
•Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design decisions.
