Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance work on M&A projects for multiple clients.
  • •Manage, develop, train, and mentor Senior Associates, Staff, and Interns; assess performance and support engagement reviews.
  • •Maintain active client communication to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and lead change efforts.
  • •Assist with buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and advise on tax-efficient acquisitions, divestments, and restructurings.
  • •Research tax issues and prepare succinct, deal-driven written communications; help with responses to tax authorities and client strategies for transaction tax aspects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation/LLM in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • •Minimum six to ten years of progressive federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting.
  • •Three to five years of qualified Mergers and Acquisitions tax services.
  • •CPA or JD/active law license required.
  • •Experience preparing Corporate, S-Corp., and/or Partnership returns and strong skills with US GAAP and tax compliance.
