Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver concrete to commercial and residential job sites. You’ll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean and safe truck, verify mix specifications, and operate chutes to place concrete. The role also includes DOT compliance, entering production activities into an electronic tracking system, and keeping equipment in working condition while following supervisor direction.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on highways/roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and ensure equipment is maintained, clean, and in safe working condition.
•Verify compliance with mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Operate the mixer and chutes to receive and release concrete into the area to be poured, and clean the truck after each delivery.
•Enter production activities into an electronic tracking system and ensure trucking activities are DOT compliant.

Key Requirements

•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid CDL (Class A or Class B).
•Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid DOT Medical Card.
