Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and scale core employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, compliance training, and updates for promotions and job changes.
  • •Lead the People Operations team and make HR Operations more visible and accessible to employees.
  • •Lead operational work for opening new legal entities internationally, including the UK, Canada, and Germany.
  • •Maintain HR operations and compliance across all countries where Chainguard operates, partnering with Finance and Legal on constraints and compliance.
  • •Manage and expand the Employer of Record (EOR) partnership and build scalable People Ops processes, templates, and resources using AI.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10+ years in HR/People Operations with 3+ years in a leadership/management capacity.
  • •Proven ownership of HRIS strategy, including leading implementations, migrations, or major optimization (Workday, Rippling, ADP, or similar).
  • •Experience owning the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, org changes, data integrity, and process design.
  • •Background running HR compliance operations, including I-9s, leave administration, policy administration, and audits.
  • •Direct experience standing up or scaling People Ops in a high-growth SaaS/startup environment and supporting international expansion (including EMEA/EOR work).
