Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the management of radioactive waste across characterization, handling, packaging, and disposal with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
  • •Develop and implement characterization and categorization programs for BNPP radioactive waste to ensure accurate identification and inventory management.
  • •Lead storage, transportation, and on-site/off-site waste management activities to meet predisposal requirements and safety standards.
  • •Drive regulatory compliance initiatives, staying abreast of evolving regulations and guiding the team in applying compliant practices.
  • •Lead quality assurance efforts, audits, and emergency response planning related to radioactive waste management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • •7 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of Nuclear Power Plant experience with 3 months of BNPP site experience.
  • •APR-1400 or OPR-1000 experience in radiation safety area.
