Job Summary

Build and evolve a governed lakehouse data platform that powers analytics and both internal and customer-facing dashboards. You’ll design reusable Snowflake + dbt models and pipelines (with Databricks workloads as needed), modernize legacy ETL into streaming/incremental solutions, and tune for reliability, performance, and cost. Partner with PMs and engineers to translate requirements into data contracts, ensure data quality and lineage, and enable self-serve data product onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and evolve the lakehouse data platform with reusable models and pipelines on Snowflake + dbt (using Databricks workloads where they fit).
•Translate product and business requirements into data models and pipelines, working with PMs, business units, and engineers to land domain logic correctly in production.
•Migrate legacy ETL to modern streaming and incremental pipelines, choosing Snowflake or Databricks based on fit.
•Operate and tune Snowflake for reliability and efficiency (including warehouse sizing/utilization and clustering/partitioning) while managing cost.
•Ensure data quality through robust data governance, automated testing/validation, and lineage; curate metadata in Unity Catalog and Snowflake.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years building and operating production data pipelines and models on Snowflake using SQL, Python, and dbt, including reliable ELT/transformations with quality and performance ownership.
•2+ years hands-on dbt experience building modular, version-controlled, and tested data models, treating transformations like software engineering (Git workflows, code review, automated tests).
•2+ years experience with AWS cloud services.
•Experience translating product and business requirements into clear specs and acceptance criteria, then implementing them in production pipelines/models.
•Strong understanding of data quality, lineage, validation techniques, and data governance.
