Job Summary

Operate and support rail/ingredient handling at the feed mill by moving rail cars, coordinating track activities, and unloading feed ingredients to storage silos. Monitor and report track conditions, record dispatch and data accurately, and run required quality analysis for incoming ingredients. Maintain housekeeping and follow Tyson health and safety and biosecurity guidelines while working in demanding hot/dusty/outdoor conditions and performing minor maintenance as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Move rail cars using a locomotive/trackmobile and perform Control Room Panel–Batching operator functions as needed.
•Coordinate track switching activities, manage couplings and clearances, and walk the track to monitor conditions and report irregularities.
•Unload feed ingredients, route them to appropriate storage silos, and accurately record dispatch data.
•Operate scales and the ticketing system; obtain and run required quality analysis on incoming ingredients.
•Maintain housekeeping and comply with Tyson Health and Safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines, including physical work requirements and minor maintenance duties.
