Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications.
  • •Implement geospatial data acquisition, preparation, and conversion processes.
  • •Configure and troubleshoot OGC-compliant web services (WMS, WFS, WMTS, WCS, and OGC API – Features) for interoperability.
  • •Support RMF compliance and manage access roles and permissions within ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • •Perform QA/QC including code reviews, vulnerability remediation from static code and container scanning tools, and ensure STIG-aligned configurations.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency with DevOps/DevSecOps workflows and integrating security best practices into the GIS development lifecycle.
  • •Hands-on experience with AGILE software development and Git-based version control tools (GitHub, GitLab).
  • •Working knowledge of OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WMTS), familiarity with OGC API – Features, and experience implementing them in enterprise GIS and custom web apps.
  • •Deep understanding of GIS platforms including ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise, QGIS, GeoServer, and PostGIS/PostgreSQL.
  • •Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a GIS-related field, plus 5–10 years of relevant technical experience.
