Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage moderately complex projects, including multiple services and/or projects with additional complexities such as litigation or environmental protection.
  • •Oversee all project phases from beginning through closeout, working largely independently and coordinating technical guidance and approvals as needed.
  • •Provide leadership across design teams and consultants, managing design phase cost, budget, schedule control, and client reporting.
  • •Coordinate jurisdictional approvals and permitting, plan construction logistics, and support bidding/contract review and pre-qualification processes.
  • •Monitor construction schedules, cost/schedule variances, invoicing/billing, payment applications, and resolve disputes and change-order impacts.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • •Preferred: 5 years of full-time paid experience managing facilities design or capital projects including design coordination, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling.
  • •Experience coordinating facilities design/planning and using construction management procedures and industry practices.
  • •Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • •Skilled use of construction management software; manage projects $10M+ and support construction logistics, bidding, contract review, and change order assessment.
