Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level technical assistance across due diligence, investigation, remediation, permitting, design, and construction for utility, industrial, and commercial-scale projects.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze site, blueprint, GIS, substation component, and equipment data to support procurement packages and design/review processes using relevant standards and regulations.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • •Perform professional and complex electrical engineering design work, including single-line/three-line wiring diagrams, substation layouts, grounding grid and lightning protection, and protective device coordination.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams through project execution tasks (budgets, schedules, technical calculations, permits, compliance documentation) while mentoring junior staff and preparing HASPs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design work for power generation, transmission, and distribution capital projects.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Proficient with electrical engineering principles and design/build practices, including permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Ability to produce and apply electrical calculations and computations and to plan and conduct inspections and investigations for construction and design work.
