Job Summary

Deliver high-quality technical support to Emerson’s installed customer base across Spain and Portugal, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and after-sales services. Support customers with on-site work and in-house activities, provide technical support and training, and assist Sales Engineers with product demonstrations and service/product opportunities. Maintain operational excellence through timely reporting, workshop readiness, and strong adherence to HSEQ and trade compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform installation/commissioning, fault analysis, repairs, and maintenance of Emerson instruments across customer sites and in-house.
•Provide diagnostics, troubleshooting, calibration, start-up, and commissioning services for field instruments.
•Deliver technical support and on-site training for customers, ensuring activities meet expectations, timelines, and guidelines.
•Support Sales Engineers with product demonstrations and guidance on product applications and after-sales services; identify service/product opportunities.
•Handle operational effectiveness including reporting (timesheets, debrief, expense reports), maintaining clean/organized workshop/workplace(s), and maximizing chargeable utilization.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, electronics, or computer science) or equivalent skilled experience.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
•Demonstrated experience with field instruments, especially level measurement (inventory management; process level/flow measurement).
•Strong communication skills and technical competencies aligned with job responsibilities.
•Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
