Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead from the front by delivering hands-on technical instruction across onboarding and residency programs and modeling excellent delivery.
  • •Build and manage an instructor bench: hire, onboard, set expectations, and make renewal/conversion decisions.
  • •Set the quality bar by defining observation rubrics, dry-run protocols, and cleared-to-teach criteria.
  • •Scale instruction through train-the-trainer programs and instructor certification for internal experts, contract instructors, and partners.
  • •Partner to turn technical content into sessions/labs/exercises and measure learner outcomes and instructor quality to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant professional experience across software engineering, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, technical education, or related technical roles.
  • •4+ years delivering hands-on technical instruction to engineers in live settings across different audience sizes and technical depths.
  • •Production engineering experience: write and ship production code and engage on architecture, debugging, and technical tradeoffs.
  • •Within the past three years, built or debugged applications using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, tool use, MCP, or similar technologies.
  • •People leadership: managed technical instructors/trainers and continued delivering technical content while hiring, coaching, and performance managing others.
