Key Responsibilities

•Participate in building large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems, including commodity, live-stream, and short-video recommendations.
•Build long- and short-term user interest models by extracting relevant signals from large datasets to explore latent user interests.
•Design, develop, evaluate, and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including CTR and conversion-rate prediction.
•Design and build supporting/debugging tools and support production of scalable, optimized AI/ML models.
•Run experiments to test deployed model performance, identify and resolve bugs, and work with deployed software platforms.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate or postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
•Experience with applied machine learning and at least one recommendation/ML algorithm (e.g., collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, factorization machines, Word2vec, logistic regression, gradient boosting, deep neural networks, wide & deep).
•Experience with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
•Experience with at least one programming language such as C++ or Python (or equivalent).
