Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and planning studies for energy storage systems and associated grid connections
  • •Design and engineering of HV grid connections, metering, and control requirements for BESS projects
  • •Collaborate with internal and external clients on large renewable generation or private wire projects
  • •Support bidding, project and quality management activities across multiple projects
  • •Contribute to design assurance and detailed design reviews for existing or new build renewables with BESS

Key Requirements

  • •FEED designer, detailed design or owner’s engineer in energy sector; consultancy/contractor experience preferred
  • •Strong understanding of renewable generation and energy storage technology, with emphasis on battery storage
  • •Experience designing HV grid connections, metering, and control requirements for BESS and renewables
  • •Knowledge of grid connection requirements including G59, G99
  • •Good understanding of electrical plant items (transformers, cables, circuit breakers) and HV protection & control
