Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders to form long-term plans and proactively identify insights for decision making.
  • •Drive planning and forecasting processes to improve headcount and operating cost forecast accuracy.
  • •Build frameworks (models and reports) to analyze Wise’s cost base, identify risks and opportunities, and derive actionable insights.
  • •Provide deep dives on key business and financial metrics using actuals to forecast variances and support optimal decision making.
  • •Create narratives on results and manage communications and reporting to department leads and the leadership team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 90,000 - 117,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience partnering with department leads and becoming a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • •Extensive experience building financial models, ideally using a planning tool such as Anaplan, and owning cost analysis.
  • •Extensive experience establishing policies and procedures, implementing cost controls, and monitoring ongoing spend.
  • •Experience forecasting headcount and operating costs to support sustainable growth decisions.
  • •Professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent), with demonstrable knowledge of IFRS and general accounting concepts.
