Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead global remediation programmes end-to-end, including design, governance, and execution for large-scale regulatory issues.
  • •Serve as primary regulatory liaison for examinations and audits, coordinating evidence collection and managing direct communications with regulators.
  • •Provide subject-matter technical challenge on remediation approaches, timelines, and output quality; facilitate decision-making across stakeholders.
  • •Create and deliver board-level governance reporting including risk registers and operational progression metrics for executive and regional committees.
  • •Align cross-functional teams across Risk & Compliance, Product, and Operations to break down silos and drive compliance-led process redesigns.

Salary: GBP 125,000 - 179,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years leading complex programme management, remediations, or 1LOD risk & compliance in a hyper-growth fintech or highly regulated financial institution.
  • •Experience owning direct project/program management across a suite of stakeholders with strong organisation and delivery tracking.
  • •Deep expertise in FinCrime including AML, sanctions, KYC/CDD, and risk mitigation controls in frontline operational workflows.
  • •Proven ability to interface directly with major regulators and successfully navigate statutory exams, consent orders, or multi-jurisdictional reviews.
  • •Strong executive communication skills to present, challenge, and influence C-suite, Board members, and product leads without formal authority.
